Backdrop
The intent to consume pixels already drawn behind the effect in the current window.
This is the normal portable input for built-in effects. When HazeFeatureFlags.isPlatformBackdropEnabled is enabled before attachment, the native path is eligible on supported Android releases and for built-in effects that expose a compatible platform effect. Eligibility is not a guarantee: the fallback options are used everywhere else and after any native setup or draw failure. Native backdrop rendering samples earlier pixels in the same window; it does not select individual source instances, include later drawing, or sample content from another window.
Inside a dialog or popup, an eligible native backdrop therefore filters only that window's earlier pixels. Haze does not switch it to fallback because the fallback sources are in another window. To consume sources from the window behind, use Sources directly.
The experimental flag defaults to false and is read when the modifier node attaches. Changing it affects later attachments only. After a known native failure the fallback remains selected until detachment.
When a native Backdrop switches to its fallback, the first frame after the switch may draw the content unchanged, or the effect without input. The sources only record their layers while an effect asks for them, and on the native path no effect does. Later frames have input.
